Named after the Asian dragon who symbolizes power and good fortune, the Dragon pen company is a rarity in that each pen produced is individually fashioned by hand. Located in the San Francisco Bay Area, owners and artisans Jeff Boschert and Joyce Tang have been dedicated pen collectors and now combine old world craftsmanship and innovative design to create unusual and exciting pens that write beautifully. They use gemstones as an integral part of each pen design, and by fashioning each instrument using the skills of jewelry fabrication, metal smithing, lost wax casting, hand chasing, lathe turning, and machine milling, they bring sculptural concepts to life.
