Tutima's Air Force Chronograph of 1941 was used by pilots of the German Air Force. The Classic Flieger Chrono, as it is now aptly renamed, continues to be regarded as a prime example of good design and aesthetics. From the large, classically shaped case and the harmoniously integrated lugs, to the milled, rotating bezel with red line marker and extra-large crown, Tutima's Classic continues to have a commanding presence. This authentic replica's mechanical, hand-winding movement Valjoux 7760 was modified by omitting the 12-hr counter and moving the minute counter from the 12 position to the 3 position. A permanent second hand is located at the 9 position and a 60 seconds central straight hand protrudes from the center along with the luminous hands. The stainless steel case contains a screw back, double sealed crown, and bi-directional coin-edge rotating bezel. The Classic is available to you on a water resistant leather strap with stainless steel clasp. Specify strap color when you order.
