The Imperial Dragon is basically the same pen as the Agatha Christie with two major differences: (1) the clip is a 925 sterling dragon with ruby eyes instead of a snake, and (2) this piece was limited to only 5,000 fountain pens, far less than the 30,000 pieces issued for the Christie. The Imperial Dragon was essentially a substitute for the Agatha Christie create for the Asian markets because the snake has a negative connotation in most Asian cultures.
