David Oscarson Pens He rocked the pen industry with his first collection, a tribute to Henrik Wigstrom, master craftsman to Carl Faberge. His reputation continues to grow as an original in his field: David Oscarson not only designs his fine writing instruments, jewelry, and objets d'art, he also oversees production, handles marketing and advertising, and leads his company in sales. His company uses only the finest in materials and employs the crafts of guilloche and hard enameling to produce their works of art; a five-year apprenticeship is required by employed artisans to ensure that the highest levels of quality are met in each piece. But Oscarson’s writing instruments are more than just art objects to admire. He sincerely hopes that his writing instruments are used, and to emphasize the point, he guarantees the craftsmanship of his work for the lifetime of the owner. His pens continue to raise the bar for technical and aesthetic achievement; his Harvest Collection was listed in Robb Report’s 2004 “Best of the Best.” About all of his work Oscarson says, "These pieces are for people who want the very best--something that can be passed on to future generations." |
