Graham Watches


Born in 1674 in the small village of Cumbreland, England, George Graham trained under master clockmakers. Though he died penniless, during his life Graham's research and innovative creativity would impact the watch world forever. In 1715 he invented the anchor escapement. Other inventions for which he is credited include the deadbeat escapement, the mercury compensation pendulum, the minute repeater with damper and the chronograph! The Graham brand is Swiss but carries on old English watchmaking traditions with its limited annual production of exceptionally well defined chronographs.
