Kinetic was the first watch in the world to create its own electricity, made possible by combining a motion-powered rotor with a quartz movement. Seiko’s restless spirit then turned to another long-cherished dream: a spring-driven watch with a new level of accuracy. As quartz made kinetic possible, so Kinetic led to Spring Drive.
